      Nissan Gloria C330 #1
      Nissan Gloria C330 #1

      The Nissan Gloria C330!!
A truly amazing looking bad car!

      Nissan Cedric 330 #1

      Nissan Cedric 330 #1Nissan Cedric 330 #1Nissan Cedric 330 #1

This Nissan Cedric 330 is one of the baddest Cedrics I’ve ever seen! It has an oil cooler hanging just above that big long lip, the big garuchan like spoiler at the rear on top of another big integrated wing! The thin tail lights swapped for a set of a C10 Skyline and tilted just a tiny bit to make them look angry! Damn, this car is tough!

      Toyota Chaser MX41

This Chaser has some integrated wide fenders (looks really bad!), an oil cooler mounted under the front bumper (with hoses sticking out of the grille) and a big big big wing at the back of the car! Judging from the lines in that wing the boot can still open! That is bad!

This week we have another 4 door Nissan Skyline C110:
      Nissan Skyline C110 #2
      Nissan Skyline C110 #2

      Nissan Skyline C110 #2

The Skyline had an headlight swap, Hart Racing rims which disappear behind the rear fender and the mid round tail lights have been removed.

This Cedric C230 was driven by Daijiro Inada in the famous godfather horn video. It has an headlight swap, wide fenders, big v-shaped exhaust, Skyline C110 taillights and some beautifully styled lip and spoiler!

Personally I don’t think it will be a tough choice this week… ๐Ÿ˜›

    • Sep 22ndBosozoku car feature: Demon Cedric Y31

So, what’s left if you get bored with your bosozoku style die cast collection? You create an itasha out of it!
Bosozoku style itasha Nissan Cedric Y31 Urusei Yatsura
Bosozoku style itasha Nissan Cedric Y31 Urusei Yatsura

No, I’m not out of my mind posting a scale model in the car features! The reason for this is because it is a very well done itasha model! ๐Ÿ˜‰

First of all the amount of detail put into the bosozoku style is amazing! It has got a double zigzag exhaust, a tiny tsurikawa and a gigantic double spoiler on the trunk!

At the front is has got a sharknose, a supercharger sticking out of the bonnet, an oilcooler and a lip which can be used as a snow shovel during wintertime!

It even has tiny little Marshal decals on the headlights, a tiny Cedric hood badge and a double horn under the sharknose!

You may wonder what the itasha part of this model is… Well, the theme of the itasha is Urusei Yatsura (aka Lum), which is an anime and manga series about demon aliens invading the Earth. Bosozoku were called demons as well and in the Urusei Yatsura manga the aliens resembled bosozoku! Main character Lum is a female alien (so she is a demon!) who is capable of flying and generating electrical shocks and lightning. Hence the big lightning zigzag exhaust!

On the inside the itasha is covered in tiger plush, just like the skirt of Lum. Tiny little manga are covered all over the floor of the car and there is even a screen showing the anime!

The antenna with the two carp streamers is also a pun on one of the episodes shown on Childrenโ€™s Day (when Japanese hang out these flags) when they meet a boy called Kintaro.

All in all this is a very nicely done crossover between bosozoku style and itasha! Not only the car is bosozoku, but also the itasha theme is bosozoku! Now that’s in my opinion worth posting in the car features! ๐Ÿ˜‰

If you are interested in other itasha by the same creator, you can find them here!

    • Sep 3rdVideo: Daijiro Inada visting Massuru 2005

Last week both white_raven and Billy posted/emailed us the videos of Daijiro Inada visiting the Massuru meeting in 2005 we posted some videos of.

In the first video travels to the meeting in the bippuzoku Celsior by Daisuke Shouten. After arriving you get an highlight of the cars on the meeting. You can see a lot of the cars featured on this site, like the C330 Nissan Cedric, this MX32 Mark II, a Grachan 180sx and the third exhaust of the week!

More car spotting in the second video:

Daikiro Inada takes a ride in a 6 meter long Gloria C430 and a lowered roof chopped Century. The Toyota Century already looks like a bad zokusha when lowered, but this one with its roof chopped is the baddest of them all!

Thanks guys! This video is one of the best videos I’ve seen so far!
