The first winner is:
Nissan Laurel C130 #1
It must have been a tough choice between that Fairlady Z and this Laurel C130!! Thanks for voting!
This weeks entries:
Toyota Mark II MX41
This Mark II has some wide fenders, black and white paintjob, huge fins on the front fenders, a single wiper, a big lip and after its roof-chop in 2005 a double spoiler on the boot.
Edit: just discovered this is a MX41, not a MX30!
versus
Nissan Skyline C110
This 4 door Nissan Skyline C110 is styled in a similar way: the black on white paintjob, the wide fenders, massive camber at the back, a small oil cooler hanging under the front bumper, a big lip, a single wiper and most importantly: a set of Nissan Cherry 100a X-1R taillights! As a bonus: they parked their zokusha on a handicapped parking spot in true bosozoku style. 😉
I know: this week it will be a tough choice again…
This spontaneous meeting was held at the Port of Nagoya:
You can distinguish the yellow buttigiri sharknose Skyline C210 easily between all the other zokushas!
You don’t see bosozoku styled Cresta GX61s too often, so this is a bit of a rarity:
Flagpole Cresta GX61
The two exhaust pipes mounted on both sides of the car remind me a bit of the flagpoles used by the bosozoku on their bikes! Large long poles with a big “motorclub” flag on it. Maybe the owner of this zokusha was inspired by those bikes. 😉
The teamname is another wacky Japanese name: Team 2 Lay. Uhm… Did they mean they were too late and misspelled that or did they mean they want to get laid? 😛

Airbrush of Aikawa Sho on a bosozoku van
Speedhunter Dino Dalle Carbonare posted this nice bosozoku van on Speedhunters yesterday!
The guy airbrushed on the back of the van is Aikawa Sho which is a famous actor. In contrary of the painting he generally acts yakuza roles. 😉
There is not much to say about this van, except that it was on the MSC Challenge round 12 held at Mobara.

I know: I’ve been slacking on the car features lately. I still have to do one about a certain Cressida, so that one will be posted next week! 😉
Today we have this very nice grachan styled Advan Celica XX:
Advan Grachan Celica XX
Apart from its paintscheme and its wide fenders it is actually very delicately styled!
No big nose, oil coolers or hood ornaments like we saw on the My Road Celica XX.
Advan Grachan Celica XX
Actually the only thing I miss on this car is a wild styled exhaust or at least some straight up pipes… Ah well, you can’t have everything. 😉
I did see this Advan Celica XX somewhere before, but unfortunately I could not find pictures or videos about it… So whenever I find it again I will certainly post up more!
