    • May 31stFriday Video: Bye bye to the Bluebird!

This project had been sitting on my harddisk at 80% completion for over a year now and earlier this week I discovered it again. I was so anxious to complete the project now that I just *had* to upload it to Youtube immediately!
      Bye bye Bluebird!
The video is over a good four and a half minutes of (JDM) Nissan Bluebirds in all varieties. Most of the pictures I’ve collected in the past few years, but some of them I had to specifically search for in order to fit them into the video.

Anyway, enjoy my tribute to all kaido racer / shakotan / kyusha kai Bluebirds mixed together with good old fashioned disco by Boney M.:

Direct link to video: Bye bye to the Bluebird (?????????? )

Nice video, saw a few nice 610’s and some cool 910’s .
And there was a car from “the men of 510”.
(910 SSS one of my favorites from Granturismo 4).

what a bad video. there were repetitions and the effects were too trippy. couldnt enjoy the cars. go read something about apple design and minimalism my friend.

I get your comments on the video, but what you probably did not get is that it is actually a homage to what our Japanese kaido racer friends create and not an attempt to create a “proper” slick video that every drift fanboy creates with Finalcut. The kaido racers tend to actually make use of a lot of various effects and repetitions.
See also here for another homage:
