A few years back the Hayashi Sakura wheels were a very rare find! Since a few years these retro vintage wheels are being reproduced in various sizes, including these 12Js:
      Hayashi Sakura 14 inch 12J
      Hayashi Sakura 14 inch 12J

Sakura (???) means Cherry Blossom. As you can see the inside of these rims have a cherry blossom shape. Sakura is associated with good fortune, love, affection and represents spring. I couldn’t think of any better rims than these!

      Hayashi Sakura 14 inch 12J
      Hayashi Sakura 14 inch 12J

This set of two has never been used and are in perfect condition. Consider the size of 12J to be as rare as the 7J variants were a few years back. 😉

      Hayashi Sakura 14 inch 12J

Apparently they are made of real cherry blossoms: the seller wants 230000 yen (2500 dollars) for this pair!

I saw an ad on auctions yahoo with some 15 inch 10J SSR Formula Mesh rims:
SSR Formula Mesh 15 inch 10J
SSR Formula Mesh 15 inch 10J

Now, those rims are already quite special by itself, but the car featuring them was even better: a Mazda RX3 with some wide wide wide fenders!

SSR Formula Mesh 15 inch 10J on a Mazda RX3

The Mazda RX3 is looking very serious: wide fenders, bucket seats and an old school lip! Note the 13B-Garage sticker here: this car is featuring a tuned 13B from a SA22C!

I think this is the most beautiful RX3s I’ve ever seen! More on this car soon!! 🙂

These rims can be yours for a mere 40000 yen ($450!), so hurry and go buy them here:

It is quite a rarity to find any other deep dish rims than various sets of SSR or Techno rims. So I was quite happy when I found these deep dish Work Equips 01:
Deep dish Work Equip 01 15 inch 11J
Deep dish Work Equip 01 15 inch 11J

Not only are these Work Equip 01 rims made up to a width 11.5J, but these rims are also the deep rim variant! You can tell the difference between the normal Equip 01 and the deep Equip 01 by the shape around the holes: normally they have an A shape, the deep variant has an O shape.

Deep dish Work Equip 01 15 inch 11J
Deep dish Work Equip 01 15 inch 11J

These rims may not be the maximum of 11.5J, but they surely are wide enough with their 11J and +20 offset!

Deep dish Work Equip 01 15 inch 11J
Deep dish Work Equip 01 15 inch 11J

For a mere 90000 yen (1000 USD) these two Equip 01 rims can be yours! Sounds like a bargain to me!

We posted some 11J SSR Mk IIIs before, but they did not have any tires mounted on them like these 14 inch 11Js:
SSR Mk III 14 inch 11J
SSR Mk III 14 inch 11J

According to the seller they were mounted on a Yonmeri Skyline C110 and fitted within the rear fenders. I think it must have been done by mounting these rims with massive camber…otherwise I think they would most certainly bump against the fender on each speedbump.

SSR Mk III 14 inch 11J
SSR Mk III 14 inch 11J

The mounted tires are Goodrich BFs and according to the seller a bit worn, so see them as a nice bonus. I have no idea what size these tires are, but they are surely nicely balloon-shape stretched…

SSR Mk III 14 inch 11J
SSR Mk III 14 inch 11J

In case you are interested in these rims, they only cost 120000 yen ($1350) and can be bought here:

We left out the SSR Tomcat in the search for the most iconic bosozoku wheel since it is already a very rare rim and even rarer in a suitable zokusha size.

However I did find a suitable pair now:
Deep dish SSR Tomcat 14 inch 11J
Deep dish SSR Tomcat 14 inch 11J

These 14 inch rims are with their 11J the widest rims made of the Tomcat series. According to the seller they have the same depth as the 10J but they have a more negative offset than those rims.

Deep dish SSR Tomcat 14 inch 11J
Deep dish SSR Tomcat 14 inch 11J

If you pay an additional 45000 yen you will also get the two 225/55 Advan slicks stretched around the rims.

In case you are interested in them, you can find the auction here:
