Auctions: Grachan Falken GX71
Last weekend Tommy J. sent me a link to a auction on Yahoo Auctions where this great Yonmeri zokusha was for sale:

Asking price was a mere 1,200,000 yen (13000 dollar) and I wanted to post it here today since Speedhunters is doing a Skyline special this week.
Unfortunately the auction ended yesterday and I was able to post it up on bosozoku style. Meaning the images had gone as well and I was unable to include them here.
To make it up to you I looked up another zokusha on Auctions Yahoo:

There were no other Skyline zokushas to be found on Auctions Yahoo, so you have to do it with this Toyota Mark II GX71. But this GX71 is really something! It has got it all!

Terribly sorry we were unable to post Tommy J.’s Yonmeri Skyline today. It was a far better looking zokusha than the grachan above…

The videos look great because they were taken at night during wintertime: the clouds of exhaust gasses coming out of those sky high exhausts make it something special!

If you watch carfully you will notice a lot of already well known zokushas, like the yellow Skyline Japan at 0:57, or the Cedric 330 at 1:24.
And in this video a Shakotan Boogie replica at 1:20 and a lot of GX-es, C31s, C32 and Y31s!
Hot or not: zig zag sharknose soarer
As I said last week, we are continuing the poll with some new stuff: hot or not! It can’t be simpler than this: basically you just vote if you like this picture/zokusha or not.

How deep is your dish?
How about some rare rims this time? I found this rare set of deep dish SSR Star Formula rims on Auctions Yahoo:

Lucky enough the seller provided us with all specs and details! They are 14 inch in diameter, 10J and 8.5J wide with a set of 185/60 and 205/60 Bridgestones nicely stretched around it!

The 8.5J rims have an offset ET -9 and the 10J rims have an offset ET-36!

The owner bought them secondhand for his S30Z but he states his S30Z never actually drove a mile with them. He did polish them before mounting them on the S30Z, so basically you have a “good as new” set of rims!
