    • Jul 1stHow deep is your dish?

We did see the Techno Shadow rims before. We found another set by Techno: it is the Phantom rim:
Techno Phantom, most probably 10J or wider
Techno Phantom, most probably 10J or wider

We do not know how wide these rims actually are, but we think they are wider than 10J and they are featured on a well known Nissan Fairlady S30 Z:

Update: something went wrong with the pictures. They should be fixed now. 🙂

I just love these to death, the kind of wheel you build a whole car around.

Eventhough the SSR Techno Shadow rims are very hard to come by I found another Bosozoku styled car with a set of them:

This Toyota Celica Liftback is widened in Grachan style to mimic the 70s racer style:

In my opinion this car is one of the best looking Grachan styled cars I’ve seen so far!

    • Jul 1stHow deep is your dish?

This week we have a nice picture of some deep dish SSR Techno Shadow rims:
Deep dish SSR Techno Shadow rims
Deep dish SSR Techno Shadow rims

Little is known about the Techno Shadow rims, only that the were made by SSR somewhere in the 80s. They are even rarer than a meeting a gaijin in Hokkaido!

These deep dished Techno Shadows look fantastic on these Bosozoku styled cars! Really nice old school look and amazing how the thin spokes still keep such deep dished wheel in place!

And how deep is your dish?

I think these rims just gave my life purpose. I must have them…and more shark nose.
