    • Dec 2ndHow deep is your dish?

Wait, that Mini Cooper no kaido racer?!
      Deep dish SSR Mk II
      Deep dish SSR Mk II

True, but it has got some wide fenders with deep dish 10 inch SSR Mk II rims in them!

So it is not about the car, but all about the rims:
      Deep dish SSR Mk II
      Deep dish SSR Mk II

The tires are Yokohama Advan A032R 165/70R10 and they are nicely stretched around the Mk IIs.

To break the habbit of posting way too many Skylines and Laurels (hey, I can’t help the fact that they are so popular!) here is a Celica RA28 with some deep dished SSR Mk IIs for a change:
Deep dish SSR Mk II on Celica RA28
Deep dish SSR Mk II on Celica RA28

According to the owner they were bought on Auctions Yahoo and are 10J wide.

Maybe 10J is a bit too wide for this Celica. Just see for yourself:

Perhaps some fender extenders would solve this “problem”?

Remember this KGC10? I found some more on the deep dishes:

Up front 10.5J and at the rear?

About 12J or 13J with 255/35 tires stretched around them:

    • Aug 14thExhaust of the week: FET Sports GX71

I’m slowly coming out of the holiday mood, so let’s start posting some more good old exhausts!

This Mark II is having some big double chrome chimneys and is held to the car by a piece of string (attached somewhere in the trunk?):

Even the big spoiler next to those big chimneys is not that disturbing…

I like the overall design of the car. The blue and red granchan theme and the Olio Fiat logo mix together nicely:

Also those big wide fenders hide the SSR Mk IIs very well!

These rims may not have deep dish, but surely the tiniest SSR Mk IIs I’ve ever seen: they are 10 inch in diameter and 4.5J wide!
Tiniest SSR Mk II: 10 inch 4.5J!
Tiniest SSR Mk II: 10 inch 4.5J!

From the pictures they appear to be in proportion, only the lugnut-hole size hints that they are small… Knowing their dimensions they surely are an odd pair!

Tiniest SSR Mk II: 10 inch 4.5J!
Tiniest SSR Mk II: 10 inch 4.5J!

The PCD is 110 and their offset is ET +2. Sounds like a good fit for some kei car!

I found them in an Auction for only 9800 yen ($112!) so definitely a bargain!
