You don’t see this every day: Kaido Racer scale models that not only have been modified with some random exhaust pipes or deep dished wheels but also have been modified heavily in bodywork!
In the rare occasion you own a
Nissan Skyline R30Fiat X1/9 by Bertone tuned by Dallara: the screenshot above shows how amazing it can look!
This video by Take4Mickey put a huge smile on my face: he modded some scale models to run on his slot-car racetrack!
It brings back fond memories of me an my brother modding the hell out our Ford-Lotus slot-cars for our Fleischmann racetrack! First we modded them with pretty stickers, then painted them in weird colors and in the end we glued things to the body like ridiculous exhaust pipes with clouds of smoke coming out them and sprayed oil on the track to make sliding easier. I guess I was already into this stuff when I was a young boy. 😉

I just love miniaturized kaido racers: their creators tend to put that little extra effort in them to make them appear to be real.
That description also reflects this butaketsu Laurel SGX: it is scary how real it is!
Even the Carrozzeria speakers look real! Scary!

Transforming model cars into zokushas is not enough for some people: they also need to compete their creations against others at the Shizuoka Hobby Show. Amazing how many people actually are transforming those model kits into almost real zokushas!
My personal favorite is the shakotan Mark II X30/X40 on SSR Mk I rims. And what is your favorite?
