Two years of Bosozoku Style
We completely forgot that two days ago Bosozoku Style became two years of age!
Last year we wrote we had about 700 facebook fans. If I take a look at the right sidebar I see 2631 facebook likes (they renamed that during the year) so that is more than 1900 more than last year!
Some fun facts from Google as well: during the past year 112,287 people visited our site and looked at 328,671 pages altogether! Compared to the year before that is three times as much! Amazing!
Let’s not forget that also the Bosozoku Coloring Book became a big hit! Add the addition of stickers to that and we can say the merchandise is getting up to speed. 😉
To celebrate the second anniversary this we already added the coloringbook + sticker combo with discount to the shop:

Bosozoku ABC: A is for Auto Salon
I came up with the idea to create a Bosozoku ABC (actually a Kaido Racer ABC) a few days ago, so if you got ideas for additions or new terms please contact us!
So let’s kick off with the A:
Aikawa Sho: Actor, most famous for playing shogun/bosozoku/yakuza parts regularly.
Akira Maeda: Professional boxer, ex Bosozoku
Aoshima: Manufacturer of scale model building kits, including kyusha kai or kaido racer style!
Auctions Yahoo: The place for sourcing your original zokusha parts!
Auszoku: Infamous Australian bosozoku oriented forums
Auto Salon (Tokyo): Infamous for its parking lot meeting on the last day of the Salon.
Auto Trend (Nagoya): Famous for the parkinglot meeting next to the highway.

I found these Aoshima Focus Racing copies for sale on Auctions Yahoo and they are meant to dress up your 1/6th GX71 scale model (which is IMO quite large).

I had some trouble figuring out what rims were on this Yonmeri Skyline:
Deep dish Best Fulstron Star
I came to the conclusion that they are supposed to be Best Fulstron Star rims. Now who would come up with a name like that??
Edit: I stand corrected here: they are Techno Project T.R.V. rims
