It has been decided: starting from next sunday we will feature new weekly polls.
At first we are going to pursuit the most iconic wheel in three steps: first eliminate the best type made by each brand, then figure out the best diameter/width/offset. So for instance for the Takechi Project we choose Hart Racing and then figure out what looks best on them, like these 14 inch 12.5J (unknown offset):
12.5J wide Hart Racing rims on a Mark II MX41
After that we will do the toughguy boso guy series to find the toughest zokusha we can find, just like this purple Nissan Laurel hardtop:
In both polls we already have some candidates (including pictures) but if you have a good suggestion: please do send them in! ( ? ??)
Four months ago we featured a white Soarer with an exhaust like a big trumpet. We found another Soarer with another trumpet-like exhaust:
Another big trumpet on this Soarer
Was this another craze or just plain coincidence?
You can also create your own bosozoku style music video by combining some (bosozoku) drag race, highway rolls and meeting videos together and put some rock and roll under it:
Love the Crown S60 @0:57! It looks wicked!
I just love the looks of this purple Nissan Laurel C130 hardtop:
No, I did not make a mistake in the title. It was done deliberately because of these:
SSR Mk II 14 inch 10J/11J
Big deal: a pair of 14 inch 10J or 11J rims. What has this got to do with stretching then? Well have a look at this then:
SSR Mk II 14 inch 10J/11J with stretched tires
The seller gives you two (175/60 Continental EcoContact) stretched tires as a bonus!
SSR Mk II 14 inch 10J/11J with stretched tires
But there are some catches with these rims:
– seller doesn’t know the exact width (10J or 11J?) and offset
– one rim has kerb damage on its shoulder (has been polished away)
– mounting bolts are not included
