    • Jun 6thHot or not: two tone Chaser MX41

Last weeks Celica XX was found HOT by 97%! That’s the highest score we ever made on Hot or Not!

Let’s get back to this week: everybody loves the red MX41 chaser with the JZ engine swap, but how about this milder brother of him?
Hot or not: Toyota Chaser SG MX41
Hot or not: Toyota Chaser SG MX41

Nice black-silver two tone Chaser with only some mild body modifications done. The wildest part of this Chaser is probably the oilcooler under the front bumper…

The wheels are 8J (front) and 9J wide, so not too wild either. I must add that they are Hart Racing rims and quite rare…

However for the interior only I would certainly vote HOT:

Carpets rule, especially if they are royal blue!

Now is this car hot or not? You decide!

    • May 31stHot or not: granchan Celica XX

Personally I would call this vinyl race branded Celica XX a granchan (Grand Championship) styled zokusha:
HOT OR NOT? Granchan Celica XX GA61
HOT OR NOT? Granchan Celica XX GA61

However the winking eye is actually a bad thing for aerodynamics and the car is lacking excessive bodywork…

The car itself is not lacking anything: a Fujitsubo octopus exhaust, SSR Mk II rims with stretched tires and a five speed conversion.
HOT OR NOT? Granchan Celica XX GA61
HOT OR NOT? Granchan Celica XX GA61

The SSR Mk IIs are 14 inch 8.5J front and 10.5J at the rear. Tires are 175/60/R14 at the front and 185/50/R14 at the rear. Now that is some serious stretching at the rear!

The car is actually for sale on Auctions Yahoo for a mere $5500.

Now is this Celica XX hot or not?

Thanks to The Doctor for the tip!

Getting a bit crazy on the Suzuki Altos lately, but I couldn’t resist posing this one:

Hot or not: Shakotan Boogie Yanky Mate! Alto

Yes: the Shakotan Boogie Yanky Mate! lookalike Suzuki Alto with a 240Z G-Nose conversion! Crazy!

Now is that hot or not?

Great! Almost everyone liked last weeks Leopard F31!

Now let’s go back a bit more in time with this Mitsubishi Galant GTO:

Headlights are swapped for some late 70s early 80s square double headlights, its got a black and red two

And from the rear? Well, from the rear it looks like a Mustang Fastback!
